For 32 years, the Hillsborough community has helped fund its outstanding public schools by supporting the Hillsborough Schools Foundation's Annual Giving Campaign . Despite repeated fiscal crises and ongoing threats to public education funding, our schools have been able to continue important programs and keep class size down through the continued support of HSF, now an integral part of funding for our school district. Over the years, your generosity has made it possible for the Annual Giving Campaign to contribute close to $36 million to our schools.

HSF also plays a vital role in fostering volunteerism and community support by hosting three fun-filled events during the school year. In the fall the HSF Events program begins with the popular Hillsborough Classic (tennis tournament, luncheon, auction, boutique shopping and fashion show). Next, HSF Events invites you to join the event of the winter season–the Dinner Dance and Auction . Our school year will end with Family Fun Day, an event which combines the Fun Run and Carnival for one great community building affair on the North School field.

PARENT GROUPS
Associated Parent Groups
The Hillsborough City School District is happy to thank the parents and community members who donate their time in our schools. Through the Hillsborough Schools Foundation, Concours Events and other volunteer activities ranging from helping with Art In Action to assisting in classrooms, an enormous number of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers donate their time to our schools each year. Many Hillsborough parents are also active in the Parent Group activities. Each school has a parents group and the Associated Parents group coordinates activities between the groups.
To find out more about getting involved with parent groups contact your child's school Parent Group President.
HILLSBOROUGH RECREATION DEPARTMENT
